PUBLIC NOTICE Notice is hereby given that the Board of Supervisors of West Fallowfield Township, Crawford County, Pennsylvania, intend to consider and enact an ordinance, of which this is a summary, to close a portion of a Township road known as Rocky Glen Road (TR 302) due to its hazardous condition, at its regular meeting to be held at 9:00 A.M. on Thursday, September 5, 2019 at the West Fallowfield Township building located at 6817 Main Street, Hartstown, West Fallowfield Township. The title of the ordinance is: An Ordinance of West Fallowfield Township to Close A Portion Of Rocky Glen Road (Township Route 302) Between its Intersections with State Route 18 and Certain Intersecting Driveways West of Route 18, For Purposes of Preventing Traffic and Safety Hazards . A summary follows: The Ordinance closes a portion of Rocky Glen Road from its intersection with State Route 18 westward a distance of approximately 2,500 feet, to a place where the roadway intersects with certain driveways, due to the hazardous condition of the roadway caused by the numerous storms. The remainder of Rocky Glen Road shall remain open. The portion closed shall remain closed until such time as the Township shall acquire sufficient resources to make the repairs needed to make the road safe again. The ordinance authorizes official actions to effectuate the road closure, and makes the Ordinance effective 5 days after enactment. PUBLIC NOTICE INVITATION TO BID The Housing Authority of the City of Meadville (the Authority) is seeking bids from qualified Contractors for the Holland Tower PA 33-2 Entrance Awning Replacement. Bids may be delivered or mailed to the Housing Authority of the City of Meadville, 1120 Market Street, Meadville, PA 16335 until September 5, 2019 at 2:00 PM prevailing time, at which time they will be opened and read aloud thereafter. Nothing in this section shall affect the applicability of any wage rate established in a collective bargaining agreement with a Public Housing Authority or its Contractors or Subcontractors where such wage rate equal or exceed the applicable Federal wage rate nor does this section impose a ceiling wage rates a Public Housing Authority or its contractors or subcontractors may choose to pay independent of State Law. The provisions of this section shall be applicable to work performed under any prime contract entered into as a result of a solicitation of bids or proposals issued on or after October 6, 1988 and to any work performed by employees of a Public Housing Authority or after October 6, 1988. The Housing Authority of the City of Meadville reserves the right to reject any or all bids or to waive any informality in the bidding. No bids shall be withdrawn for a period of 60 days subsequent to the opening of the bids with the consent of the Housing Authority of the City of Meadville. PUBLIC NOTICE NOTICE Notice is hereby given that KEFO Corporation P.O. Box 418, Meadville, PA 16335, is requesting a stage I and II, (final), bond release from the Pennsylvania Department of Environmental Protection for the surface mine permit No. 20820307 known as the “Well Rocks Shale Pit”. This permit is located in Summit Township, Crawford County, on the east side of Route 18, approximately two miles north of Harmonsburg, PA. More specifically, the proposed bond release area is located along the east side of Route 18, approximately 1600 feet north of the intersection of Route 18 and Agnew Road. The bond release area is located on the property of Robert George Agnew. A Stage I and II (final) bond release is requested for SMP # 20820307 for 5.5 acres. The area proposed for bond release has been backfilled, graded, topsoil replaced and vegetation established which meets the specifications of the approved permit. The amount of bond presently in affect is $10,000.00, which is also the amount requested to be released. The application, plans and other data concerning this operation for which bond release is requested are available for public inspection at the Bureau of Surface Mining and Reclamation, Pennsylvania Department of Environmental Protection, White Memorial Building, P.O.
