Public Information Meeting The City will provide information and answer questions from any resident or affected citizen in regards to Phase II of the Braddock Road Access and Safety Improvement Project at an upcoming hearing. The plan drawings will be displayed and staff will be present to answer questions on Thursday, December 18, 2014, at 6:30PM, one half-hour prior to the public meeting of the Mayor and Council at the Frostburg Community Center, 27 South Water Street. The project includes roadway improvements on Braddock Road (SR736) including the intersection with Braddock Street. The project will widen Braddock Road and improve the Braddock Street intersection. It will also add acceleration and deceleration lanes. The project covers approximately .40 miles of roadway and also includes necessary drainage adjustments and other related road work. The project will provide improved access to a future 25+ acres of commercial/light industry development on the west side of Braddock Road adjoining the Allegany Business Park. The Appalachian Regional Commission (ARC) approved $1,275,000 to the City of Frostburg, Allegany County, MD for the construction of the project. Adv.: Dec. 4, 7, 11
