PUBLIC NOTICE The Housing Authority of the City of Meadville Board of Commissioners will hold a Public Hearing on Monday, August 11, 2014 at 1:00 p.m. at the Holland Towers Community Room located at 1120 Market Street, Meadville, PA 16335. The purpose of this public meeting is to receive public comment on the Housing Authority's modifications to Flat Rents as directed by the Consolidated Appropriations Act of 2014 (P.L. 113-76) The Department of Housing & Urban Development, has determined that because of the significant impact on family rent payments, this change is deemed as a significant amendment to the Housing Authority Annual Plan, and hence is subject to the Public Hearing process. Information regarding the calculation of all Flat Rents, as well as HUD Notice PIH 2014-12 (HA) (HUD's directive on implementation) is available for viewing at the Administrative Office of the Authority located at 1120 Market Street, Meadville, PA between the hours of 8:00 a.m. -- 4:00 p.m. Any party interested in viewing the information may simply inquire at the front desk.
